After setting the table for a smarter food future at its kick-off meeting, FOODTURE has now taken the next step forward with its first General Assembly. Held online on 18 September, the meeting brought together partners from across Europe to share progress, reflect on achievements, and align on priorities for the months ahead.
At the General Assembly, partners reported significant advancements across the work packages. Highlights included:
- Advances on the improvement of whole-value chain Life Cycle Inventories and improved impact assessment methods.
- First steps in stakeholder engagement to ensure project results are actionable and widely adopted.
- Progress in quantifying systemic impacts and building practical tools for policymakers, businesses, and citizens.
FOODTURE consortium has successfully submitted the following deliverables:
- Project Quality Management Plan
- Plan for Dissemination and Exploitation including Communication
- Ethics Plan
- Data management plan
One milestone has been achieved: The development of this website. With several key activities ahead, including workshops, surveys, and policy debates, FOODTURE partners are confident that the project will continue to deliver knowledge and tools that empower smarter choices across the food system.
